dtcpay Receives Strategic Investment from SBI; Series A Financing Increases to $25 Million

According to CoinMeta, stablecoin payment company dtcpay announced that it has received strategic investment from Japanese financial group SBI, raising the total amount of its Series A financing to 25 million US dollars. This round of financing was previously led by Far East Capital, a subsidiary of Temasek, with Genedant Capital also participating as a follow-on investor. Guo Liangde, the founder of Capella Hotels Group, continued to be involved in the investment as well. SBI stated that the two parties will collaborate on digital asset payment and settlement scenarios between Japan and Southeast Asia. dtcpay is an official member of Visa and has issued Visa cards that support stablecoin payments. Currently, its licensed or business operations cover markets such as Singapore, Hong Kong, Luxembourg, Australia, the United States, and Canada.
