Global Wealth Report: The number of millionaires holding crypto assets reaches 135,694

CoinMeta data: According to the "2026" report released by global wealth and investment immigration consulting firms Henley & Partners, as of August 31, there were an estimated 135,694 millionaires around the world holding at least $1 million in crypto assets, among which 92,272 held at least $1 million in Bitcoin. The number of people holding at least $100 million in crypto assets was about 290. The report also estimates that there are approximately 742 million crypto asset holders globally, with about 371 million of them holding Bitcoin. Additionally, the report released a crypto adoption index for 2026, assessing the regulatory environment, taxation, infrastructure, innovation, and adoption levels in 36 countries and regions. Singapore ranked first for the fourth consecutive year, the United Arab Emirates moved up from fifth last year to second place, while Hong Kong, the United States, and Switzerland ranked third to fifth respectively. Malta, Thailand, the United Kingdom, Cyprus, and the Bahamas made it into the top ten.
