According to CoinMeta, Circle co-founder and CEO Jeremy Allaire stated that with the launch of Arc, the demand for cirBTC is increasing. Circle Mint customers will now be able to mint and redeem cirBTC natively within the application. Additionally, Circle x402 Facilitator services have been launched on Arc and support related processing services on Base and Polygon PoS.
