Stolen coins can be recovered, but once personal information is leaked, it cannot be restored.

According to CoinMeta, on September 7th, a blockchain used for transferring Bitcoin between exchanges was attacked, resulting in a loss of approximately $320 million. This figure has drawn widespread attention. However, to some extent, such losses are recoverable, as the funds flow on a public ledger and each transaction is visible. It appears that the attacker is a white-hat hacker who is in negotiations to return the stolen funds. In contrast, identity breaches are irreparable; leaked personal information can lead to even greater risks. Meanwhile, Trezor has confirmed that the names, phone numbers, and home addresses of 67,000 customers were leaked through a logistics supplier, and about 200,000 additional records were made public, including government-issued identification numbers and verified wallet addresses.
