According to CoinMeta, as reported by Semafor, the Trump administration is stepping up efforts to persuade Senate Republicans to support Clarity Act in Tuesday's procedural vote. The White House Economic Advisory Committee plans to launch an interactive tool that allows users to simulate the growth of stablecoins and changes in community bank deposits, and reiterates its previous conclusion that current data does not support the idea that the growth of stablecoins will lead to a large-scale loss of deposits from community banks. Some Republican senators still have reservations about the profit provisions for stablecoins, while some Democrats believe that the latest version of the government's ethical restrictions is still insufficient.
