Ethereum sees a record number of Q2 transactions in 2026, with the staking rate rising to 32%

According to CoinMeta, reports from token and terminal show that in the second quarter of 2026, Ethereum processed a total of 203.9 million transactions, a year-on-year increase of 68.4%. The average transaction fee reached $25.9, both setting new historical highs. The collateralization rate also rose to 32%, and the number of token-holding addresses increased to 312.1 million, also breaking new records. During the same period, the monthly active users decreased by 30% to 9.2 million, but the on-chain transaction fees increased by 31.6% to $52.5 million. The market value of tokenized assets on Ethereum was approximately $203.1 billion, of which stablecoins accounted for about $176.8 billion and tokenized funds about $20.8 billion.
