According to CoinMeta, Anza has announced that the second phase of the proposal to reduce the rent for Solana accounts, SIMD-0437, has been launched on the mainnet test version. The fee per byte has been reduced from 6333 lamports to 5080 lamports, which represents a cumulative decrease of about 27% from the initial level.
