Bitcoin Suisse Plans to Cut Up to 60 Employees to Advance Business Restructuring

According to CoinMeta, Swiss crypto finance company Bitcoin Suisse plans to cut up to 60 of its 120 employees in Switzerland, which is equivalent to half of the local workforce, in order to advance business restructuring. The company stated that it will integrate more software development and back-office functions into overseas centers, and the related layoffs will be implemented after the employee consultation period ends on September 20. Bitcoin Suisse was established in 2013 and currently has about 200 employees worldwide. It will close its development center in Copenhagen IT. Its existing overseas centers are located in Bratislava, and it plans to set up a new center in Vietnam, in addition to having offices in Liechtenstein, Abu Dhabi, and Bermuda.
