Forward Industries Launches Digital Asset Treasury Framework in Response to the Statement of SEC Committee

According to CoinMeta, Wu said that SOL's leading treasury company, Forward Industries, released a "Digital Asset Treasury Framework" in response to the statement made by Committee Member Hester Peirce regarding crypto treasuries and lending strategies. The framework recommends classifying treasuries into three categories based on the actual management rights exercised by the operators: type I (for use by users), type II (for following predefined strategies), and type III (for advisory purposes). In the case of type I, users can choose and set their own parameters, while developers are only responsible for maintaining the code. For type, the operator sets predefined strategies that users can choose to follow, and the operator is also required to make joint investments. In type, the manager exercises actual decision-making power over strategies or specific asset transactions and is subject to stricter regulations. Additionally, the framework suggests implementing coordinated supervision for treasuries that hold a mix of securities and commodities using SEC and CFTC. It also requires all treasuries to comply with basic rules such as related-party transaction disclosure, public code auditing, exclusion of unqualified individuals, and anti-fraud measures.
