According to CoinMeta, Brian Armstrong, Coinbase CEO, stated that regardless of the voting outcome of the Clearing House Act, cryptocurrencies will prevail. He pointed out that if the bill passes, it will gain legislative support; if not, SEC and CFTC are also prepared to release relevant regulations. In an interview with CNBC on Thursday morning, Armstrong said that the Senate vote on September 15 will bring transparency to regulation, regardless of the result. He added that the bill is "ready to pass," and the senators he spoke with expressed their support for it. He noted that the main issue currently hindering the bill are the ethical guidelines for government officials holding digital assets.
