According to CoinMeta, Brian Armstrong of Coinbase CEO stated that the "Clarify Act" has received support from several senators and a Senate vote is expected to take place on September 15th. He pointed out that even if the bill is not passed, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) will continue to advance the formulation of relevant regulations. In addition, Coinbase is pursuing a diversification strategy, extending its business to stocks, commodities, and foreign exchange areas, with non-trading revenues including stablecoins and institutional custody services. The company's revenue for the second quarter was $1.2 billion, with a net loss of $359.5 million, and since the beginning of this year, the stock price of Coinbase has fallen by approximately 23%.
