Arthur Hayes: AI Bubble May Trigger an Even Larger Financial Crisis in 2028
2026-09-10 12:01:11
According to CoinMeta, BitMEX co-founder Arthur Hayes predicted in an interview with Unchained that the AI bubble could trigger a more severe financial crisis in 2028 than in 2008. He stated that once the market begins to question the returns on AI capital expenditures, the financing chain could reverse. At that time, governments might resort to large-scale money printing to bail out the market, which is also the core logic behind his belief that Bitcoin will benefit significantly from the bursting of the AI bubble.
