According to CoinMeta, due to a double-payment vulnerability in Nomic, decentralized exchanges such as Osmosis froze approximately 22.65 BTC, worth nearly $1.8 million. Attackers created fake nBTC to manipulate Alloyed BTC on these exchanges, affecting about 39.84 nBTC (about 36% of the total supported by Alloyed BTC). Deposits, withdrawals, coin minting, and redemptions have been suspended until the situation is under control. It is worth noting that Osmosis and IBC protocols were not affected.
