According to CoinMeta, the German Federal Ministry of Finance plans to amend legislation to include speculative profits from cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin and Ethereum in the capital gains tax regime starting from 2028, subject to a tax rate of 25%. The individual tax exemption threshold of 1,000 euros will remain unchanged, and it is estimated that this will generate an additional 350 million euros in tax revenue. (Source: golem)
