Tether CEO: Developing an Anti-Censorship Decentralized Search Engine
2026-09-09 12:01:11
According to CoinMeta, Tether CEO Paolo Ardoino revealed in a post that the technical team of P2P under Tether is developing a decentralized peer-to-peer search engine (unstoppable search engine) that is resistant to censorship and has fault-tolerant capabilities. This architecture supports horizontal scaling across thousands of distributed nodes and uses a fault-tolerant structure for data self-organization to maintain high availability and censorship resistance. Ardoino indicates that the development is progressing smoothly; currently, in the testing environment, the complete archived data from Wikipedia has been distributed across 100 distributed nodes, achieving millisecond-level retrieval times with excellent performance.
