According to CoinMeta, Satoshi Nakamoto's early Bitcoin mining activities have once again drawn attention, with new clues indicating that he may possess approximately 1.096 million Bitcoins. This news emerged on September 5, 2026, when seven dormant wallets were activated, containing 50 BTC. After 16.5 years of inactivity, these wallets reappeared. According to Whale Alert data, there are still 33,995 coinbase containing 50 BTC each that have not been spent, totaling about 1.699 million Bitcoins. Of these, 21,922 (approximately 1.096 million) are believed to have been mined by Satoshi Nakamoto, accounting for 64.5% of the unspent amount. Additionally, Galaxy Research indicates that Bitcoin's recent daily trading volume reached a fourth-highest level in history, with 893,391 transactions, exceeding the 99th percentile of historical volumes.
