2026-09-08 15:03:45
According to CoinMeta, Yamaguchi Contract Bank in Japan has initiated research on a digital securities financing model with NTT Data and Securitize Japan. In the first phase, the feasibility of Yamaguchi Contract Bank issuing and directly selling bond-type securities tokens to investors will be assessed. If this plan is ultimately implemented, it will become the first case of a local Japanese bank issuing and selling bond-type securities tokens. The actual issuance date has not yet been determined. The three parties also plan to explore connecting the local bank common system of NTT Data with the Securitize digital securities platform, with the aim of further expanding this to scenarios such as local enterprise financing and digital bonds issued by local governments in the future.
