GPT-6 Astra Created their own "Portal" with a conversion cost of $571

According to CoinMeta, independent developer cozyblaze integrated GPT-6 and Astra into Valve's 3D puzzle game "Portal." At the start, the player was given only one instruction: to play through to the end credits without using the internet to look up guides. In the end, Astra successfully completed the game in about 23 hours and 43 minutes, consuming approximately 435 million token, which is equivalent to around $571 at the current API price. Astra played the game in a way different from humans; the game would pause while thinking, allowing the player to observe the current screen, character positions, and perspective to decide on the next move. Although the experiment prohibited Astra from actively using the internet to look up guides, it is not possible to rule out the possibility that relevant game knowledge was incorporated into the training data. This experiment demonstrated that AI is capable of completing a task that lasts nearly a day and requires continuous observation and interaction with a 3D environment.
