According to CoinMeta, Wu said that he learned that Kyrgyzstan President Sadr Dzharapov chaired the third meeting of the National Committee for the Development of Virtual Assets and Blockchain Technology. The founder of Binance and Kyrgyzstan President's Digital Assets Advisor CZ attended the meeting in person. The meeting discussed topics such as encryption regulation frameworks, compliance and anti-money laundering, stablecoins, and tokenization, and also studied the development and use of KGST stablecoins. CZ stated that Kyrgyzstan has progressed from the concept a year ago to establishing an encryption regulation framework, providing local banking channels for crypto exchanges, and facilitating KGST circulation. The meeting required relevant departments to promote the introduction of supporting regulations within 3 months and to study revisions to the "Virtual Assets Law." The central bank is required to develop and pilot a digital soms base platform by December 31, 2026, and to begin real-world testing starting in 2027, with the gradual rollout of a unified licensing and regulation platform for virtual assets also planned to start piloting from January 1, 2027.
