Anthropic's Claude rewrites Fermat's Last Theorem in 11 days

According to CoinMeta, Anthropic's Claude has completed a rewrite of Fermat's Last Theorem in just 11 days, a problem that took humans 358 years to solve. The theorem was first recorded on the margin of a book in 1637, accompanied by notes indicating that no proof could be suitable. It wasn't until 1994 that humans solved this theorem, but the proof at that time was so complex that almost no one could fully verify it. Claude rewrote the entire proof into 13 million lines of code that computers can verify on their own, and they did so in less than two weeks. Now, the entire proof has been made public, and anyone can check it line by line.
