Trump plans to introduce HyperLiquid into the United States, or rules may need to be rewritten

According to CoinMeta, as reported by Coin Bureau, Trump stated last month that CFTC is working to introduce HyperLiquid into the United States in a “completely compliant and legal manner.” The U.S. will not be able to access the global venues of HyperLiquid; instead, the parent company of Kraken will build an independent U.S. product around its technology, which will operate through a platform regulated by Bitnomial and will have complete KYC and custody protections. U.S. traders will face fewer markets and lower leverage trading conditions. CFTC and SEC will need to have their rules rewritten, which could take up to a year. The CEO of CME opposes this, calling crypto perpetual contracts a “disaster waiting to happen,” and has filed a lawsuit against the approval of CFTC.
