Gemini AI Outperforms the S&P 500 with a $100,000 Portfolio
2026-09-01 23:24:32
According to CoinMeta, Gemini AI recently purchased Google’s parent companies Alphabet and Nextera Energy as part of its $100,000 stock experiment. Since last November, the portfolio has grown by 24.3%, outperforming the S&P 500 index by 13 percentage points. Gemini also added one share of Alphabet at a price of $335.72, as well as 30 shares of Nextera Energy at $82.79 during this experiment. This portfolio not only strengthens the direct investment in AI but also takes into account the growing power demand of data centers. Nextera is participating in a planned $100 billion data center and energy park that is expected to support more than 1.2 GW of computing power. Despite the outstanding performance of this portfolio, the report notes that this does not mean Gemini will be able to continuously outperform the market.
