According to CoinMeta, Bitcoin showed resilience at the beginning of this week, remaining above $78,000 despite the U.S. military strikes against Iran driving up oil prices and causing the stock market to decline. On Monday, Bitcoin was traded at around $78,623, with a decrease of only 0.7% within 24 hours. Despite market volatility, Bitcoin is expected to close August with a gain of over 24%, which would be its best performance since 2017. Meanwhile, West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude oil futures rose by 2.6% to around $85.60 per barrel. Analyst Iliya Kalchev pointed out that Bitcoin's ability to remain stable under the dual pressures of the Federal Reserve's hawkish policies and escalating geopolitics indicates a more significant market signal.
