According to CoinMeta, as reported by SlowMist, the Balancer V1 risk pool suffered a hacker attack on August 31, resulting in a loss of approximately $234,000. The attack stemmed from a rounding error vulnerability. This vulnerability is of the same category as one that caused the Balancer V2 pool to lose $116 million last November. Although Balancer had experienced similar incidents before, history repeated itself once again.
