According to CoinMeta, MD Sass announced its withdrawal from international exchanges ( ICE ) in its second-quarter 2026 investor update, due to the investment thesis for its mortgage lending technology business not developing as expected. The strategy performed well in the first half of 2026, with AI infrastructure stocks leading the market and the Russell 1000 Value Index rising by 16.3%. However, the portfolio's net return in the second quarter was 10.0%, which is lower than the 13.9% of the Russell 1000 Value Index. The company noted that ICE's performance was affected by rising interest rates and expressed concerns about the prospects of its mortgage lending technology business.
