According to CoinMeta, Ripple has been continuously increasing the issuance of its RLUSD stablecoin on XRPL. Recently, tens of millions of RLUSD tokens were minted on XRP Ledger and Ethereum, with the market value of this USD-pegged asset exceeding $2 billion. According to data from the Ripple stablecoin tracking account, within the past two hours of August 31st, the RLUSD treasury minted 11 million RLUSD, while also recording 11 million RLUSD destruction transactions. This activity is a continuation of a series of large-scale RLUSD treasury operations carried out by Ripple in the past few days, demonstrating its speed in adjusting the supply of stablecoins. On August 29th, the tracking account reported that the treasury minted 15 million RLUSD, and the day before that, 20 million RLUSD were minted on Ethereum. Market tracking data shows that the total supply of RLUSD is currently around $2.35 billion, of which Ethereum accounts for about $1.31 billion, and XRP Ledger accounts for about $1.04 billion.
