The US Open Tennis Tournament reaches an exclusive partnership with Kalshi to promote the development of the prediction market

According to CoinMeta, the US Open (US Open) has signed an exclusive cooperation agreement with the prediction market platform Kalshi to promote its expansion in the American sports sector. The agreement took effect immediately with the United States Tennis Association (USTA) and was officially finalized after last week's qualifying matches. USTA originally planned to explore cooperation with prediction markets in 2027 and beyond, but the new CEO Craig Tiley facilitated this collaboration before this tournament. A unique aspect of the agreement is that USTA prohibits competing prediction market platforms from advertising at the tournament venues or during television broadcasts. By Monday morning, the women's singles championship market had seen transactions amounting to approximately $1.6 million. This collaboration marks a further penetration of prediction markets into mainstream sports.
