According to CoinMeta, Lu Lei, the vice governor of the People's Bank of China, stated at the 15th China Payment and Clearing Forum that intelligent agent payments should not blur the lines of responsibility between consumers, financial institutions, and algorithmic systems. The People's Bank of China plans to issue a self-regulatory convention to coordinate protocols and standards.
