According to CoinMeta, the Hong Kong Monetary Authority, Securities and Futures Commission, Insurance Regulatory Commission, Mandatory Provident Fund Authority, and Hong Kong Digital Port announced the list of participants for the first phase of the GenA.I Sandbox++. Out of nearly 100 proposed solutions received, 36 use cases were selected. The participants come from 30 financial institutions and 27 technology partners, including Bank of China (Hong Kong), Huaxia Fund, Ant Blockchain, Google, IBM, etc. The first phase of the GenA.I Sandbox++ focuses on exploring applications related to agentic and AI. The tests cover areas such as customer account opening, payments, insurance claims processing, and customer interaction.
