According to CoinMeta, Anthropic plans to publicly disclose the IPO prospectus after Labor Day in the United States (September 7th) and may list on the U.S. capital market at the end of September or beginning of October. Previously, Anthropic submitted a secret listing application to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) earlier this year. The company is considering allowing existing shareholders to sell some of their shares during IPO and is also researching a lock-up period longer than the traditional 180 days. If this listing proceeds, it will become another major IPO event in the AI sector and will compete with rival OpenAI for attention in the capital market.
