BofA: Monthly end adjustments provide slight support for the US dollar

According to CoinMeta, BofA indicates that the end-of-month adjustments may provide slight support for the US dollar. Its end-of-month rebalancing model shows that there could be capital outflows in the euro/US dollar and pound/US dollar pairs during this month's adjustments. BofA estimates that, based on the traditional 60/40 global stock-bond portfolio, the US dollar has not performed well in August, and it recommends rebalancing from pounds and euros back to US dollars. Although the change is not significant, there are already signs of this trend this week, with both the euro/US dollar and pound/US dollar pairs declining by 0.3% and 0.4% respectively. Market participants will be paying closer attention to the keynote speech by the Federal Reserve Chairman Warsh at Jackson Hole, which is expected to take place before the London adjustment and may affect larger capital flows. Overall, BofA's model predicts that the impact of end-of-month flows on the market will be very minor.
