According to CoinMeta, Pi Network has announced that its smart contract has been launched on the test network, and community members regard visible activities on the chain as an important signal that the mainnet transition is approaching. The test network activities demonstrated two specific functions: server_auto_release and release_booking_escrow. This system places funds in escrow at the time of booking, which are automatically released to the landlord after the guest checks in, or conflicts are resolved according to preset dispute resolution rules. The current trading price of Pi Network is around $0.09178, up 2% in the past 24 hours, but it has slightly declined compared to last week. The token has fallen by more than 96% from its historical high of $2.99 set in February 2025.
