According to CoinMeta, as reported by The Wall Street Journal, Sheikh Tahnoon Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the UAE's National Security Advisor, and his co-investors hold 49% of the shares in the holding company of world, liberty, financial (referred to collectively as WLFI). WLFI is seeking to obtain a national trust bank license in the United States, and the Federal Reserve Bank of America has preliminarily approved this application. WLFI plans to have its issued USD1 stablecoin reach a market value of $4 billion. The White House responded stating that there is no conflict of interest.
