Public Citizen: Trump-related crypto projects result in $4.7 billion in losses for investors

According to CoinMeta, and as reported by an early issuer of in, a consumer rights organization Public Citizen released a report stating that cryptocurrency projects related to U.S. President Donald Trump and his family have caused investors to lose at least $4.7 billion. Among them, Trump's investors lost approximately $3.2 billion, while Trump earned $7.2 million from licensing fees and royalties of NFT and over $600 million from the sale of World Liberty tokens and equity sales. Public Citizen calls for the inclusion of ethical guidelines in the "Digital Assets Market Clarification Act" and demands that U.S. President Trump and his family withdraw from related industry projects.
