According to CoinMeta, Coinbase is expanding its Bitcoin mortgage program, allowing borrowers to purchase homes without having to sell BTC, thus avoiding the risk of margin calls. The exchange collaborates with Better Mortgage to promote its standard-compliant loan products that use tokens as collateral to a broader market, and Coinbase One members can enjoy this service. The program was fully launched on August 12th, with an expected total loan amount of over $260 million. 76% of the applicants are already Coinbase One members, and 60% of them plan to purchase homes within six months.
