According to CoinMeta, Cypherpunk Technologies has released suggestions for the upcoming Zcash network upgrade (NU7), as the price of ZEC fell below $800. As one of the main holders of Zcash, Cypherpunk currently holds nearly 2% of the total supply of Zcash. Despite proposing to speed up the block time, Cypherpunk stated that they will not participate in the NU7 vote. ZEC has performed strongly over the past week, with a gain of 76% and once reached a new high of $888, but has now fallen back to $779, with a 7.6% decline on Tuesday. Additionally, the launch of Zcash ETF of Grayscale is considered an important event, although the market response was not as expected. Polymarket currently predicts that there is a 66% chance that the price of ZEC will rise to $900 before 2026.
