According to CoinMeta, the real-world assets ( RWA ) under Bitfinex and the securities token platform Bitfinex Securities have announced that they have completed a $50 million tokenization financing for Luxembourg's high-tech metal investment and operation platform Alkemya Metacore, and are preparing to launch the associated tokenized securities ALKN. These tokenized securities are backed by a stockpile of 7 million meters of high-purity nickel wire (valued at approximately $1.6 billion) independently held in Switzerland, with the related materials being widely used in cutting-edge industrial fields such as semiconductors, aerospace, defense, electromagnetic shielding, and green hydrogen energy.
