According to CoinMeta, the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement stating that Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatti discussed recent developments in the Middle East with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, including a joint proposal by Iran and Oman to establish a temporary maritime passage through the Strait of Hormuz. The statement also added that the conversation between the two sides also covered Egypt-Russia relations.
