77% of Americans believe cryptocurrencies in retirement plans carry high risks

According to CoinMeta, a new survey indicates that over 77% of Americans believe there are risks associated with investing in cryptocurrencies within workplace retirement plans, with 46% of them considering these risks to be very high. The survey also found that 53% of respondents oppose employers offering cryptocurrencies as an investment option. Conducted by the National Institute on Retirement Security, the survey covered 1,203 Americans aged 25 and above. The results show that 80% of respondents believe the United States is facing a retirement crisis, and 68% stated that preparing for retirement has become more difficult.
