According to CoinMeta, Strive Asset Management purchased 1,110 bitcoins for $81.5 million, increasing its holdings to 21,356 bitcoins, with a value of approximately $1.7 billion, making it the seventh-largest bitcoin holder among listed companies. The company raised funds by issuing an additional 3.65 million Class A shares and 441,313 Class B preferred shares. CEO Matt Cole stated that the company acquired these bitcoins at an average cost of $73,409 per coin. Strive had previously purchased 147 bitcoins at an average price of $64,800 and 79 bitcoins at an average price of $63,231, totaling 226 bitcoins. In June, Strive bought 2,500 bitcoins for $18.52 million, raising its holdings to 19,000 bitcoins. As of August 21, Strive's cash and cash equivalents increased from $154.8 million to $171.9 million, and the price of SATA preferred shares was around $100.
