According to CoinMeta, Moody's Analytics chief economist Mark Zandi warns that the United States is facing potential risks of an economic crisis. He stated that all the preconditions for a crisis are taking shape, and this issue has not received sufficient attention. Zandi pointed out that the ratio of U.S. debt to GDP exceeded 100% at the end of April, a level not reached since World War II. He also mentioned that the government's annual budget deficit is as high as $2 trillion, and as interest rates rise, the difficulty of repaying debt will increase. Zandi believes that the current fiscal situation is deteriorating, and global investors' confidence in the United States is waning, which will lead to higher interest rates.
