According to CoinMeta, data from the crypto derivatives exchange Deribit shows that approximately 81,700 Bitcoin option contracts (with a notional value of about $6.44 billion) will expire and be settled at 16:00 on August 28 UTC +8. This settlement accounts for nearly 20% of the total outstanding Bitcoin options Deribit. The put/call ratio is 0.83, with the maximum pain point at $68,000. As the price of BTC has risen sharply from $62,000 to around $80,000 in the short term, a large number of call options have become in-the-money, with the main call strike prices concentrated at $75,000 and $80,000.
