Revolut Launches Euro Stablecoin EURR, Initially Covering Denmark, Poland, and Portugal

According to CoinMeta, and as reported by Bloomberg, fintech company Revolut has launched a stablecoin EURR pegged to the euro, initially available to qualified customers in Denmark, Poland, and Portugal. Revolut described EURR as the first step in its stablecoin strategy, with plans to subsequently introduce tokens pegged to other fiat currencies in order to expand the use of digital currencies in cross-border payments and corporate transactions.
