According to CoinMeta, as reported by A in early 2021, as of August, the cumulative recharge amount for USDC and USDT stablecoins reached $13.8 billion, an increase of nearly $10 billion compared to the previous 12 months. USDC leads in terms of consumption scale, with Base having a chain settlement amount of about $1.2 billion, Solana at $635 million, Polygon at $544 million, and Optimism at $509 million. These stablecoin cards rely on payment networks such as Visa and Mastercard. Circle has renewed its USDC cooperation with Coinbase and has eliminated dividend arrangements.
