Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister Says Pre-emptive Action Against the US Is Also an Option
2026-08-26 12:01:47
According to CoinMeta, Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Ali Karambaradi stated in an interview on August 25 that Iran is still in a state of war, and the Strait of Hormuz is under the full control and surveillance of Iranian armed forces. It will not be reopened unless Iran gives its consent, approval, and makes the necessary arrangements. Karambaradi also warned that in order to defend national security and interests, Iran may take "pre-emptive" actions against American targets if the circumstances permit, without having to wait for the United States to initiate an attack first before taking defensive measures.
