Empery Digital: Holding 1,179 BTC, plans to invest $65 million in data center renovation

According to CoinMeta, Wu said that bitcoin treasury company Empery Digital announced that it currently holds 1,179 BTC, approximately $62 million in cash, and $35 million in debt. This debt is recorded at the cost price of $79,800 per BTC and is classified as an investment in data centers. The company estimates the net asset value per share (NAV) to be $4.83. The company also plans to invest $65 million to acquire a 25% stake in a 150,000 MW facility in the Midwest that is intended to be converted into a AI data center. The transaction is expected to be completed in the third quarter. Empery Digital stated that the facility has signed a letter of intent with a high-investment-level counterparty for a triple-net lease agreement, with the total rent over the entire lease term expected to reach up to $2 billion. Based on its equity, the company expects to receive over $440 million in cash flow, with rent payments expected to begin in early 2027.
