LayerZero Plans to Launch a Blockchain Exchange for Financial Institutions

According to CoinMeta, as reported by The Information, LayerZero plans to launch a blockchain-based exchange this autumn, primarily targeting financial institutions. LayerZero has previously announced that the new Layer blockchain Zero will go live this autumn and will collaborate with institutions such as Citadel Securities, the American Depository Trust and Clearing Corporation (DTCC), and the parent company of the New York Stock Exchange, Intercontinental Exchange (ICE). LayerZero officials stated that Zero will be designed for 24/7 capital markets, institutional clearing, and stablecoin payments, and will have a dedicated trading environment.
