According to CoinMeta, Trump's financial disclosure documents show that his portfolio manager purchased SpaceX stocks worth between $15,000 and $50,000 after the SpaceX stock went public, at a purchase price of around $156.11 per share. On Monday, the price of SpaceX closed at $135, resulting in a current floating loss of about 13.5% on this investment. A White House spokesperson Davis Ingle stated that a third-party institution manages Trump's portfolio, and Trump and his family are not involved in making buying and selling decisions. Democratic lawmakers Elizabeth Warren and Robert Garcia raised questions about these transactions and the investment management arrangements, requesting disclosure of the basis for these decisions.
