Hyperliquid Founder Jeff Yan: Three Updates Launched on the Test Network HIP-4
2026-08-25 21:27:04
According to CoinMeta, Jeff Yan, the founder of Hyperliquid, stated that three updates have been implemented on the testnet HIP-4: support for delegating permissions to sub-deployers, allowing main-deployers to assign specific operational permissions to different addresses; market deployment operations have been separated from spotdeploy into independent top-level action; this adjustment represents a disruptive change to the testnet specifications. Additionally, hyperevm now supports outcome for spot balances, and developers can query relevant token balances through l1read and SOL. Currently, unlicensed deployments on HIP-4 are still in the testnet phase.
