According to CoinMeta, Emerald AI has completed a $150 million financing round, with a valuation of $1.05 billion. This round of financing was led by DCVC and Energize Capital, with participation from NVIDIA, Samsung Venture Capital, GE Vernova, Salesforce Ventures, and others. The company uses proprietary software to help data centers adjust their power usage according to grid demands and has already secured contracts in California and Virginia. It is also collaborating with NVIDIA, Oracle, and others for testing. Founder Sivaram stated that the goal is to transform data centers from being a burden on the power grid into flexible resources.
